I made sure to pre-order with Amazon just to get the free mini-comic. Batman: Arkham Asylum=The BEST comic based video game EVER!
Agreed 1000000% It doesnt get any better than Batman Arkham Asylum.
I know he wasn't the main villain in the game, but I thought Scarecrow was pretty awesome. They should really think about redesigning his costume in the DCU to match his look in Arkham Asylum. The needle fingertips he was sporting in the game was a great look for him.
I loved that look for him, best look since the fourth season of Batman Animated Series in my opinion and I loved playing his levels. Man...that game is just superb.
Out of curiousity, do you have this game for the Xbox or the PS3?

Yep, and the free maps from yesterday too which are much easier than those super hard maps from last week...I love that Bats has world-wide training but cant do a takedown on a lunatic...lol
I actually haven't fired up Arkham in about a week now, so I haven't played any of the new maps yet. I downloaded them, but I haven't played them. Right now I'm just completely hooked on "Civilization: Revolution".
Out of curiousity, what's your best map/highest rank? I completely suck at the invisible predator challenges, but I can clean up pretty well on the free-for-all combat maps. My best map was the first sewer one, I was ranked somewhere in the 500's last time I played. The funny thing is that I wind up doing WAY better fighting as the Joker than as Batman, who's supposed to be the ultimate fighting machine!
Lol I'm pretty good with Bats in the Predator maps, i did the first one in like 48 seconds, and I did the first Joker Predator map in like 28 seconds, I dont remember my score on the other maps, Ill have to add you so I can compare our scores.
Wow, 28 seconds??? I'm lucky just to make it out alive! I guess I just don't have the patience for the predator stuff, I just want to run out there and start beating the hell out of everybody!
I'll have to get back to you tomorrow with my ID, because I have no clue what it is! Nobody I know has a PS3 so I've never needed to know what my ID was... Hell, I've never even played any game I own online! I'm a pretty solitary guy, unless I have some friends over I'm always playing every game by myself.
Im the same way, The only person I play games online with really is my girlfriend. So thats cool, no rush. And yeah, All I did was shoot the first guy and hide in a vent, everyone else came over, and I threw the joker teeth and they blew everyone up, and I was done. lol
Sweet, that's actually a pretty good idea! My favorite Joker moment in that game had to be the first time Commish Gordon killed me in combat mode... I marked out pretty hard when Gordon smacked Joker in the side of the head killing him. You can't say the J-Man didn't have that coming! Jim had to be like, "FINALLY!!!"

Lol Yeah, If anyone deserves to get the kill on the Joker more than Batman or Jason Todd its gotta be Gordon. I mean the man killed his wife and paralyzed his daughter...How is he STILL not dead?
